Sophie Le Floch

I am Sophie LE FLOCH CORNOU after having lived in Paris, Brussels… worked in decoration, fashion, created 2 restaurants… I settled in the Causses du Quercy Natural Park in 2016.

Maison Causse was born from my desire to create beautiful, ethical and unique living objects.

The “Maison Causse” spirit reflects the raw and unspoiled nature that surrounds me. It is a revisited, refined and modern rusticity. I work from local materials, walnut from the Dordogne valley, oak from Quercy, wool from Caussenardes...in an artisanal way in one-off pieces, or in small series.

My commitment to a reasoned social and united development, respectful of the environment is to choose my local suppliers and partners for these shared values (VirgoCoop, Ami Bois shared workshop, France Noyer, Castagné walnut oil mill, etc.)

I mix influences, techniques, materials to create an artisanal and responsible eco-design universe.
