As a little girl, Fabienne was a child who loved to collect shells, pebbles, branches, pick flowers to transform them into paintings. She loved playing in the water, running in the grass, watching the dragonflies...
She remained contemplative of this dear Nature: its lights, its expanses, its infinities, its colors, its smells, its rustles. She aspires in her work to rediscover these states of mind through the transparencies, reflections, subtle nuances offered by goldsmith's enamels.
She also multiplies the number of enamel passes and firings to transform the material, bring subtle tones, create chemical reactions, mattify in places, leave the shine of the glass to others.
What is marvelous with enamel on copper is the magic of the fire which is accomplished with each cooking: the fusion takes place and the cooling of the glass then makes it possible to discover with fascination the result of the work. Each exit from the oven remains unique and charged with emotions.
His work translates into a refined, poetic, delicate expression and gives free rein to the inner journey.
