Born in 1976, Sébastien Arcouet is self-taught. Originally from the southwest, he lives in the Basque country near Bayonne after having lived in Marseille for 30 years.
These paintings are pieces of life carried by the exaltation of warm colors and strong contrasts. Thanks to his taste for gouache and acrylic coupled with an instinctive but attentive observation of the world, he manages to capture the essential with great freedom of execution. A very personal and, to say the least, dazzling interpretation.
